EASY TO USE WITH THE HELP OF A SPIRAL BINDING. THE BOOK LAYS FLAT AND STAYS OPEN WHILE DOING RESEARCH AND COIN COMPARISONS. THE RED BOOK OF UNITED STATES COINS IS SIMILAR. THE RED BOOK IN MY OPINION QUOTES VERY HIGH RETAIL VALUES. CHARLTON'S STANDARD CATALOGUE OF CANADIAN COINS ALSO IN MY OPINION OVER INFLATES THE COIN VALUES.IN MY OPINION THESE VALUES ARE EXTREMELY OVER INFLATED.(VERY HIGH RETAIL). The Charlton Catalogue has changed this year, dividing itself into two volumes - Volume One for standard circulating mint issues and Volume Two for non-circulating legal tender issues.
As has been the custom for the past several years, there is a special feature on die varieties, this year focusing on the Victoria five cent coinage.
